Innovative, patented Original Golden Hour® Technology is at the core of every MTS product. This technology is based on custom-formulated single Phase Change Material (PCM) that allows the passive containers to “lock-in” a particular desired temperature range. This PCM approach also allows for a single conditioning method and a simple, single pack-out method, year round.

 
 
Originally created in response to the need for an effective combat-environment thermal container on the battlefields of Afghanistan, patented Golden Hour Technology utilizes a unique Thermal Isolation Chamber (TIC®) System and superior PCM custom-formulated with a freeze/thaw threshold selected specifically for the necessary temperature range. An assembly of Vacuum Insulation Panels (VIP) or high-quality reusable cellular insulation forms a continuous barrier on all sides of the container, dramatically improving thermal control over conventional ice and gel-pack methods.
